Housing InformationRoom Types & PricesThe College offers a variety of accommodation to visitors during the summer months. All rates are inclusive of all taxes and a Continental Breakfast. A Full Irish Breakfast will cost a further €3.60 per person per night. The opening times for breakfast are 7.30am to 9.30am Monday to Saturday and 8.00am to 10.00am on Sunday.All rooms have access to a kitchenette suitable for light catering only. All bathrooms contain showers - there are no baths in college rooms. All of our rooms are non-smoking accommodation. The cost for children under 14 years of age is €29.45 per night. A limited number of cots (for babies up to 18 months/two years of age approx.) are free of charge. Please book cots in advance. A limited number of portable beds are available in rooms/apartments large enough to accommodate them. The cost of a portable bed is €29.45 per night. This option is often useful in accommodating families/small groups as it allows one extra bed-space in certain rooms/apartments. Maps of Trinity College campus are available here.
Payment & Cancellation PolicyWe do not accept a reservation without a deposit equal to the cost of the first night of the reservation. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Laser Cards only. Guests failing to arrive before 10am the morning after your first night's accommodation, or if the reservation is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to check-in time, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeit.

Arrival, Departure & TransportThe Accommodation Office is open throughout the week from 8am to midnight. Checkin time is from 2pm. For guests who have not checked-in before closing time, the keys can be collected from College Security at Front Gate.Guests arriving early will be offered a voucher to store luggage at no cost in the Conference Centre luggage room. Guests may use this facility at any time but there is normally a charge of around €2 per bag. On the day of departure, all rooms must be vacated by 10am and all keys returned to the Accommodation Office or else at the Security Desk at Front Gate or in the Conference Centre. Trinity College is at the very heart of Dublin city centre and therefore is relatively simple to locate. From the airport, a taxi will typically take about 20-30 minutes and cost around €25-30. Alternatively, the AirCoach and AirLink typically take about 30 minutes and cost €7 one-way or €12 return. Trinity College is about a 10-15 minute walk south from Bus Áras, the main bus station. Vehicle access to College is via the Lincoln Gate, in the south-east corner of campus. Please note there is a one-way anti-clockwise system of traffic around Trinity College. Taxis may enter College via Lincoln Gate. Pedestrian access to College is via Front Gate or Nassau Street Gate, (at the Conference Centre). Parking & Other FacilitiesParking is normally not permitted on-campus.There is an arrangement with the closest 24-hour public car park, i.e. Fleet Street Car Park, whereby guest residents of the college may park at a reduced rate. Year 2007 rates were €8 overnight (6pm-9am) and €15 daytime parking (9am-6pm), or €3 per hour. Tickets must be stamped in the Accommodation Office and the charges then paid at the office in the car park - not at the automated machines. Free car parking on campus at weekends may be available - please enquire at time of check-in. This applies from 4pm Friday afternoon until 8pm Sunday night.
